What You'll Do:
- Ensure adherence/compliance with established internal control procedures by examining centres, reports, operating practices, and documentation
- Appraise the adequacy of internal control systems for customer safety and experience
- Maintain internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures
- Communicate the audit findings and monitor closures; identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities in training, process, policies and facilities
- Manage internal and external auditors - preparing audit schedule, training the auditors, resolving issues/concerns, etc.
- Maintain focus on data integrity, customer safety and producing work of the highest quality
- Enforce adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising operating information and trends
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Identify barriers to customer success wherever they originate (tools, training, etc)
- Become an "expert" on support processes and make recommendations towards next steps based on customer experience
What You'll Need:
- 4-8 years of experience in quality role, preferably in a retail audit setup
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory, MBA is preferred
- Six sigma certified
- Experience working in a highly detail-oriented environment, demonstrating a high degree of diligence and accountability
- Self-motivated and reliable to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team setting
- Basic proficiency in productivity tools (email, calendar), Microsoft Suite (excel, PowerPoint), Google sheets, Google docs
- Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross functionally with other departments
- Confident in presenting findings to upper management
- Passion for data analysis and the ability to drive defect reduction, process improvement, and tool enhancements
- Flexibility to travel
