New Product Development Head
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Own Product formulation & Efficacy. Acts as internal/external Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supplements, nutraceuticals & personal care products.
2. Actively participate in Product Ideation related research to figure-out whitespace in the market. Coming up with the right set of problems to solve in the categories.
3. Carry out Primary & Secondary research in India/US/UK, competitor research and dive into various types of analytical tools
3. Design the right set of optimal formulas to solve targeted problem areas.
4. Coordinate with R&D heads of 3rd party manufacturers to develop product formulas.
5. Understand the source of ingredients used by manufactures and ensure its optimal.
6. Evaluate the samples received from suppliers with all required tests from Labs as well as participants. Manage & increase no of participants every month.
7. Responsible to get all kind of certifications to ensure product authenticity
8. Assist Marketing & Brand team in providing all technical knowledge of the product, mechanism of action, strengths, precautions, efficacy expectation & condition etc
9. Constantly stay in touch with customer support team to understand product feedback from existing customers on product efficacy, usage, reaction & suggestion. Take necessary action to solve it and improve product

3. Past Work Experience : ideally from a Online D2C brand in the Nutrition or Personal Care space. Where they the individual has been part of New Product Development (NPD) essentially any reasonably well scaled Online brand catering to nutrition and personal care
