Job Description:
Location: Chennai
Experience: 7-10 HR experience,
- with 3-4 years in Business Partnering/ T&D/ OD
- working in an organization with diverse (multi-cultural) group of people
- handling people processes for multiple entities across geographies.
- experience in driving initiatives across the organization
Certificates
- Certified in Human Resources Management (MBA, PGDM)
- Certification in some psychometric tools, any or all - competency frameworks, interviewing skills, Performance mgmt. processes, training design and delivery.
Qualities
Deliver: (Vital & Essential):
- Create and maintain/energize a group of members who are Culture Ambassadors in the organization.
- Implement the awareness programs on Principles & Purpose across the organization - run them as well as make it happen through the above said team.
- Integrate the Principles into the various HR systems - Recruitment, Training, Performance Appraisal - implement the designed intervention - suggest course corrections.
- Deliver the branding plan - internal and external.
- Drive the various initiatives pertaining to culture in the organization (across geographies)
Do (Vital & Essential):
- Be a people person - connect with people willingly and empathically.
- Proactively reach out on non-purposive conversations
- Be visible all the time - never hesitate to take centre stage.
- Communicate keeping the objective and impact of the message - Ask "Why are we doing this? Does the communication / message accomplish that objective?"
- Strong implementation skills - pilots, introduction, driving, monitoring, making course corrections, documenting progress.
- Curiosity to learn about our businesses.
- Questioning business leaders on their clients, people, process, and goals
- Training experience - trained mid-senior members or supported the anchoring of facilitative workshops for leaders.
- Understanding of how Culture is created, sustained and driven.
- Good command of English language, good articulation skills
- Fluent Speaking knowledge of Tamil language
- Initiative, quick thinking, openness to explore alternatives, asking "how else can we do it?"
- High internal customer orientation - if it doesn't work for the customer how else can we position it? If we can't position it, how else can we tweak it to achieve the same outcome.
DESIRABLE:
- Has worked on Organization Development and Change Management projects - creating vision/mission, promoting values, training on operating principles, designing core messaging with respect to these, measuring the impact of change.
