Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
- Develop and implement a data-driven corporate development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential inorganic growth opportunities through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic -partnerships.
- Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, ensuring a thorough financial and legal analysis.
- Lead deal negotiation and structure transactions to maximize shareholder value.
- Oversee the integration process of acquired companies, fostering a seamless post-merger success.
Market Analysis & Deal Origination:
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential acquisition targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with potential acquisition partners, investment bankers, and industry leaders.
- Develop a robust deal origination pipeline to ensure a steady stream of potential opportunities.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to the corporate development team, fostering a high-performing culture.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) for successful transaction execution.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate the value proposition of corporate development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree (preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a data-driven approach.
- In-depth knowledge of M&A transactions, legal frameworks, and negotiation strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment
