- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven City Operations Manager to lead our operations and Center Managers teams, ensuring excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.
Position Overview:
- The City Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations and sales activities of multiple gym locations within the city.
- This role requires a blend of operational expertise and sales acumen to drive performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve financial targets.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for fitness and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple gym locations, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all sites.
- Manage facility maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations and customer satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Growth :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for each location.
- Collaborate with the BTL team to create and implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor sales teams to enhance their performance and customer engagement skills.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, including operations and sales personnel, ensuring high levels of performance and motivation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to support their professional growth.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that aligns with the company's values and culture.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service across all gym locations, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the customer experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, encouraging retention and referrals.
Financial Management:.
- Prepare and manage budgets for each location, monitoring expenses and revenues to ensure financial targets are met.
- Analyze financial reports and develop strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning:.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for city-wide growth and expansion.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to drive business development and enhance competitive positioning.
Qualifications:.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the retail or fitness industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing multiple locations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using business software and systems for operations and sales management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
