Job Title: Senior Manager Export


Grade: M2


Reporting to: DGM Export


Industry: Consumer Durables/Electricals industry only


Job Description:


We are looking for a Manager Export to drive international sales and business development for our leading brand in the Consumer Durable industry.


Key Responsibilities:


- International Sales & Business Development: Lead and execute strategies to drive international sales and business growth in key markets, focusing on new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts.


- Market Expansion: Identify, establish, and grow sales channels in untapped markets, with a strong emphasis on Africa, Southeast Asia, US, and Europe regions.


- Sales & Distribution Expansion: Develop and implement strategies for the expansion of sales and distribution across all product categories including Fans, Lighting, Appliances, and Pumps.


- Merchant Exporters & Coordination: Coordinate with merchant exporters and deemed exporters to streamline export operations and optimize supply chains.


- Export Operations Management: Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of export activities, including documentation, compliance, and logistics.


- LC & Remittance Management: Manage Letters of Credit (LC), export payments, and remittance processing to ensure smooth and timely financial transactions.


- Product Management: Provide strategic direction for product offerings in international markets, ensuring they meet local regulations, customer preferences, and competitive benchmarks.


Required Qualifications:


Education:


- BE (Any discipline) + MBA


Experience:


- 10-15 years of experience in the Appliances/Consumer Durables/FMCD/ FMCG industry, with a proven track record in Export Management and International Sales.


Industry Knowledge:


- Strong experience in international sales, market development, and distribution.


Market Expertise:


- In-depth knowledge of Africa, Southeast Asia, US, and Europe markets and experience in expanding brand presence in these regions.


Skills & Competencies:


- Proven ability in International Sales & Business Development.


- Strong analytical and market research skills to identify new business opportunities.


- Experience in Merchant Exporters and deemed exporter coordination.


- Excellent knowledge of Export Operations and managing LCs and Remittances.


- Strategic thinking with a focus on expansion and product portfolio management.


- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
