Art Director
Responsibilities:
Creative Direction:- Provide creative direction and leadership to the design team, ensuring all design projects align with Otipy's brand strategy and business objectives.
- Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions that communicate the brand's message effectively.
- Build the motion graphics repository for any kind of design experience for Otipy using its products, merchandise, services, etc.
- Focus on 'brand language' for all channels - coin designing guidelines for brand, icons, mnemonics, brand color schemes and brand's unique style.
- Most importantly, understand the difference between Bold' vs. Loud communication.
Team Management:- Lead and manage a team of talented designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Delegate tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design projects.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Agency Experience:- Utilize your extensive agency experience to bring a fresh perspective to design projects.
- Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and other creative partners to enhance Otipy's design capabilities.
Branding Designer:- Develop and maintain Otipy's brand assets, ranging from unique packaging designs to offline branding, asset creation, logo creation, etc.
- An expert of handmade illustrations and doodles to take the brand mascot fable forward.
Design Execution:- Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to final delivery.
- Produce high-quality visual assets for various mediums, including digital, print and packaging.
Innovation and Trends:- Stay updated on design trends, industry advancements, and emerging technologies.
- Infuse innovative ideas into design projects to keep Otipy at the forefront of design excellence.
Requirements: Experience:- Proven experience as a Design lead, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects.
- Previous experience working in a creative agency is essential.
Skills:- Proficient with software like Photoshop, Premier pro (basic), After effects & Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and how they translate into design content.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Communication:- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to articulate and present creative ideas and concepts.
Problem Solving:- Proactive in identifying and addressing potential challenges during the production process.
- Ability to find creative solutions to ensure project success.
Qualifications:- Formal degree in design, Fine Arts, or related field only.
- Proven experience in a brand design leadership role.
- Strong portfolio in ecommerce brands and agencies.
