Product Owner Managerial Role


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deliver innovative solutions within our internal Continuous Delivery and Integration solution based on user requirements

2. Build relationships with business and IT representatives at all levels, to assess, initiate, prioritize, refine, and drive appropriate technology solutions

3. Develop and maintain a product roadmap for his/her delivery area that synthesizes the needs of business customers over the long and short term. Manage delivery expectations with customers

4. Create, and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation by the area's scrum team -

5. Manage and communicate tradeoff decisions between scope (value / expected ROI) and schedule (higher operating expense in longer release cycles) -

6. Effectively negotiate with business and IT stakeholders to prioritize work to be delivered by the Agile Scrum Team each sprint -

7. Excellent written and verbal business and technical communication skills, working comfortably and ably with stakeholders at the department or division level -

8. Must review technical solutions for compliance to business process and objectives, as well as IT standards

9. Work diligently and proactively to research, respond and resolve customer issues in a timely manner

10. Manage to the definitions of done from feature acceptance criteria to release to ship working software to aligned business values -

11. Identify trends and opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. 10+ years' experience with the implementation of Continuous Deployment and Integration especially in the areas of CRM automation or quality management

2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA, or related discipline or equivalent experience

3. Experience with enterprise system implementations and solution architecture for global companies

4. Must have the ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology strategies

5. Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

6. Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams

7. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required

DESIRED SKILLS:

1. Knowledge of web applications, databases (preferably Oracle), SQL -

2. Knowledge of CRMnext.com preferred but not mandatory -

3. Strong knowledge in information technology architecture components, principles, procedures and practices
