Purpose
The Key Account Manager is accountable for developing, managing and maintaining a deep relationship with our existing key accounts; ensuring that a longer term strategic relationship is maintained. The role requires a strongly motivated person that can understand and meet the customer's expectations and is able to take a hands-on approach to problem solving by using their initiative and available resources to provide solutions. The key metric for this Role is achieving the sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Develop new business through existing accounts by having an understanding of the customer's business, identify and explore commercial opportunities with the accounts
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at the client businesses by identifying key influencers and decision-makers within customer organisation and develop an action plan to deepen the relationship with this audience
- Regularly liaising with existing clients to identify new business opportunities; proactively contact them to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery, whilst identifying further new business opportunities
- Prepare plans, encompassing sales and pricing activities, to maximize opportunities and value for both parties
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations on behalf of the Company; manage sales demos and coordinate status meetings as needed.
- Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
- Understand and clearly articulate CRMnext value proposition.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- BE/ BTech
- 8 to 10 years of strategic Software sales experience in a business-to business sales environment (Enterprise level).
- Has experience of managing accounts and relationships
- Has experience of presenting proposals to customers at senior management level
Required skill sets:
- Has excellent communication and presentation/ demo skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Understanding customer needs and translate them in to practical solutions
Good to have:
- CRM selling experience
- Good understanding of Microsoft, Seibel, Sales force CRM system
