Crisil - Structured Finance Research Role

Role Responsibilities:

- Maintain market coupon performance model for various banks in Excel.

- Create, update and maintain comprehensive databases by using Bloomberg/Intex etc on Agency MBS and RMBS sectors.

- Regularly capturing the market data like issuance, coupon performance, rating actions etc.

- Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends and arrive at meaningful conclusions

- Help the On-shore team on day-to-day basis and work on ad-hoc client requests.

- Analyse multiple large complex database tables in excel and show relevant output charts/tables.

- Assist in writing research notes and preparing associated charts and tables.

- Preparing Weekly, monthly and quarterly recurring publications - which includes building & updating databases and writing reports.

Skills Required:

- Knowledge of Structured Finance sector

- Knowledge of market data tools like Bloomberg, Intex, 1010 data

- Excellent MS Excel and Word

- Basic Knowledge in VBA, SQL preferred

- Sound understanding of credit ratings

- Good writing skills to help in research reports

- Team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
