CRISIL - Senior Research Analyst - Equity Research - Metals & Mining Sector

Job title: Senior Research Analyst - Equity Research - Aus precious metals, copper and steel

Location Chennai, Mumbai

Experience 3-6 years

Job Duties

- The OA will support the analyst in the Aus precious metals, copper and steel sector for a large investment bank

- Build end to end financial models from scratch

- Understanding sector drivers and forecast company's financial statements and conducting valuation

- Update and restructure models for earnings and events

- Build and update sector databases in Excel

- Provide data and analysis based on various client requests

- Search and aggregation on sector and companies

- Contribute to various publications including initiations and earning notes

- Be able to independently write equity research reports

- Create marketing presentations and update company specific presentations

Qualification MBA (Finance), CA, CFA (US), CFA (Indian)

Skills Required

- 3-6 years prior experience in equity research, preferably in Metals & Mining

- Excellent in Financial Modelling

- Excellent research skills

- Comfortable with report writing

- Strong accounting and finance knowledge

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Should have excellent MS Excel skills

- Working knowledge of Bloomberg

- Accuracy and High level of Attention to detail

- Comfortable with long working hours and multi-tasking

- Macro/VBA skills is a plus
