CRISIL - Senior Research Analyst - Credit Research - European Banks/Financial Institutions Sector

Job title - Senior Research Analyst (CRISIL GR&A)

Location - Pune

Experience - 5+ years of industry experience in credit research - Financial Institutions/ Banks

Job Responsibilities

- The role comprises supporting fixed income desk of a global asset manager

- Undertake credit analysis and prepare comprehensive credit notes covering European financial institutions across investment grade and high yield

- Attend management calls or earnings conference and draft earnings reviews covering results highlights and its impact on credit recommendations

- Update proprietary financial models/ industry data bases regularly

- Proactively track regulatory developments/key credit events and share insightful analysis with the onshore team

- Conduct credit analysis of various liquid investments on an annual basis and thereby help the client in complying with SEC's 2a7 regulatory requirements

- Support the onshore team in various adhoc assignments such as sector outlook reports, client marketing presentations, etc.

- Mentor junior associates in the team and provide support in conducting peer reviews to ensure quality across all deliverables

- Take active interest in building strong processes for any new assignment that may be allocated to the team

Qualification - CA/MBA (Finance)/CFA/FRM

Skills Required :

- Relevant experience in credit research

- Knowledge of European banking sector is a must

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts, banking KPIs, banking regulations, Basel III norms, etc.
