Job title : Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst

Location : Pune

Experience 1-3 years of quantitative or economic research experience

Job Duties

- Creation and management of specialised databases

- Building quantitative and econometric models

- Run regression models across a variety of variables

- Conceptualizing and implementing new research themes

Qualification - Masters in economics / statistics / advanced sciences / operations research; CFA / FRM preferred

Skills required

- Highly proficient with programming languages such as R, Matlab

Well-versed with data sources like Morningstar, Bloomberg and statistical software like EViews

- Attention to detail with ability to deal with and analyze large datasets

- Proficient with Advanced Excel and VBA

- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment management

- Strong understanding of numbers & quantitative reasoning abilities

- Strong communication skills
