Job title : Research Analyst/Senior Research Analyst

Location : Mumbai/Pune

Experience : 3-4 years

Job Duties :

- Establish a Community of Practice(CoP) by streamlining existing Project management functions using sustainable best practices

- To work with multi-disciplinary, cross cultural and geographically dispersed teams to build or maintain robust and scalable Project collaboration tool. This centralized repository will house the re-usable project artefacts and disseminate the knowledge as required.

- Lay out the foundations for exemplary project governance and be the CoP for sound governance best practices

- Be the central team which standardizes project management framework, encompassing key project templates which can be re-used across different teams

- Manage the current Program/Project portfolio and ensure that the project aligns to the organizations vision and strategy. Standardize and publish effective project dashboards

- As gate-keeper to project artefacts and skill-set matrix, be the contact reference for upgrades and audit/compliance needs(which may differ across Clients)

- Provide training and learning on project management tools, techniques and best practices

- Manage Programs and large Projects. These are typically the cross divisional Projects with high cost or risk to the organization

- Ensure projects are following the process. This is a combination of active monitoring and reviews done at the end of each phase. Should promote proactive Quality Assurance rather than a reactive Quality Control mechanism

Qualification: At least a Bachelor's in either Finance or Information Technology from a recognized university with a good academic record.

- Additional Qualifications in Project Management(such as PMP, PRINCE 2), Governance (such as CGEIT) or experience in generic Change Management roles

Skills Required :

- Ability to understand the multi-faceted aspects of Project management-portfolio/program and projects; exposure to change management roles like PM, PMO, BA, QA, will be beneficial

- Ability to persuade and influence staff at all levels, with diplomatic but assertive approach in dealing with people

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive attitude, always seeking opportunities to add value

- Experienced in working on multiple issues & enhancements in parallel

- Excellent eye for detail. Appreciation of best practices in Project management and identify opportunities to cross leverage synergies from divergent teams

- Demonstrated passion to own an initiative and drive action items to closure with minimal supervision

- Politically astute with sound judgement. Build effective working relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.

- Have a strong moral compass and a governance/controls mind-set. Proactively identify, assess and recommend re-use of project artefacts.

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

- Challenge the status quo
