Job Description:
1. Historical model building and developing forecasts
2. Developing company's operating metrics in conjunction with their relevance in different sectors/ companies
3. Extensive company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, Trading and transaction multiples, EVA
4. Collecting financial data using on-line and other data sources such as Bloomberg and Reuters
5. Coordinating and maintaining databases
6. Extensive report-writing including company profiles, earning notes, initiating coverage reports, sector reports
7. Handling adhoc research requests as per client requirements
Skillsets:
1. Good MS Suite - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
2. Attention to detail; Self learning
3. Strong Accounting and financial skills
4. Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
5. Ability to handle large volume of data and analysis
6. Knowledge of database tools - Bloomberg, Reuters and other financial data systems
7. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to deliver error free output
9. Basic knowledge of macroeconomics aggregates
Experience:
CFA/MBA (Finance) with the pre MBA experience in IT technology companies or possess VBA knowledge
