Job title : Offshore Associate, Quant Strategy

Location : Chennai

Experience: 1-3 years of quantitative or economic research experience

Job Duties :

- Creation and management of specialized databases

- Building quantitative and econometric models according to onshore analyst directions

- Back testing of research ideas

- Conceptualizing and implementing new research themes

Qualification : MBA or Masters in Economics

Skills required :

- Attention to detail

- Strong understanding of numbers & quantitative reasoning abilities

- Proficient with Advanced Excel and VBA

- Well-versed with data sources like Bloomberg and econometric modelling using statistical software like EViews and MATLAB

- Strong communication skills

- Should have worked on an offshored financial research set up earlier
