Proposition Marketing - Gurgaon
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support & Manage Marketing Analytics team.
- Setting targets and managing resources and priorities.
- Managing quality of research and analysis.
- Carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis of the telecommunications market in UK/Global.
- Develop business models to validate and improve current market offerings.
- Coordinate and analyze the competitive landscape.
OBJECTIVES:
Quantitative / Qualitative Analysis (50%):
- Production of quantitative and quantitative analysis
- Provide UK/Global portfolio reporting / analysis and segmentation
- CRM-Siebel Analytics: Perform analytical and operational CRM activities using Siebel to manage business analytics, automate reports using iBots. Create ad hoc reports using Siebel Analytics/OBIEE Answers•
- Scorecard/Dashboards: Develop monthly/weekly scorecards/dashboards w.r.t campaigns and products .Ad-hoc data analysis as required
Program management (30%):
- Close coordination with Product, Marketing & Segments teams across regions to manage a global launch/withdrawal of a portfolio/product under ‘Network Services'
- Handling Revenue recognition for ‘Network Services’ portfolio marketing Efforts worldwide
- Assisting in creating and driving marketing campaigns
- Web Analytics & Intranet updates: Generating Web Trend Reports for various product propositions and working on Intranet web site updates.
Competitive Analysis & Research (20%):
- Produce actionable analysis of the competitive landscape
- Track productions and promotions launched by other operators in UK/Global market
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of CRM Technology (Siebel /Iview would be an advantage)
- Knowledge/Experience in Telecom Domain
- Technical knowledge on MS Office (specially developing macros in MS Excel & MS Access)
Attributes and skills required:
- The ability to identify and interrogate various in house databases and produce the outputs in an intelligent and easily useable format.
- Minimum 4-5 years of related work experience.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Expert in data mining techniques and power user of SQL and other search tools and techniques.
- Outstanding skills in MS office applications including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of basic SQL statements
- The ability to liaise with and drive user requirements into a format that can be effectively searched on.
- Proactively work with the internal customers to define the profile to be subsequently used for the search.
- Excellent virtual team working skills.
- Ability to use remote/collaborative working tools and software.
- Self-reliance and self-motivation to take ownership of the task, understand the requirements and issues and find the target customers.
- The ability to communicate, in written form, proposition information in a clear, concise and simple format.
- Crystal clear report-writing and documentation.
- The ability to work as part of a matrixed and remote team.
