ROLE SUMMARY : 

Independent impact evaluation of development programs/ schemes implemented by Governments/ Donors/ NGOs, etc. The resource will be associated with the Monitoring & Evaluation team within CRISIL Infrastructure Advisory. Primary role will be that of execution activities to support on consulting assignments along with supporting Business Development and franchise building activities. Geography of work will involve domestic as well as international.

JOB REQUIREMENTS : 

- Sound understanding of the concept of program evaluation and approaches/ methodologies for design and implementation of evaluation studies

- Atleast 10 years of work experience specifically related to program evaluation

- Experience in evaluating international/ national level programs/ schemes (necessary) and state-level programs/ schemes (preferred)

- Experience in primary data collection through field surveys, key informant interviews and focused group discussions

- Publication of books/ research papers in the relevant field would be preferred - Experience of working with the Government (national/ state) would be preferred

- The candidate should be open to work on consulting assignments not related to program evaluation as well as support on business development and franchise building activities

- Work independently on consulting projects/ assignments; manage different aspects of project management including presentations to the client, quality and timelines of delivery.

- Be open to work on assignments unrelated to current domain strengths in the analytical capacity, simultaneously building knowledge / skills in such new areas. - Be open to work on assignments across locations in India and abroad. This would imply a willingness to travel and be stationed at client site depending on the requirements of the assignment.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of specific program evaluation experience

Qualification : Post Graduate in Economics/ Statistics
