Crisil - Manager - Risk Assessment Module/Consulting

Looking for someone preferably with a banking / ITES background having flair for implementing Crisil Risk Solutions risk management products. The role is on the functional side but it would be a great asset to have an understanding on the technical/ implementation side. Focus would be to look beyond the requirements & think out of the box in terms of product solution. The role may also require working on consulting projects related to risk management domain.

Functional Responsibility :

- Understand the existing risk management framework of client and ensure a comprehensive gap analysis of the framework

- Develop solutions/ recommendations based on the analysis

- Design and draft the risk management policies for the clients

- Design, develop and validate the credit rating models

- Lead the product implementation cycle end to end

- Responsible for translation of requirements into specifications for the software development by the development team

- Ensure testing of the new developments/ new products are planned and executed as per the SLA agreed with the client

- Understand the changing landscapes and conceptualize new enhancements in existing products in line with the market / client requirements.

Process Adherence :

- Review the initial and ongoing development of products

Client Management / Stakeholder Management :

- Interact with clients in relation to assignment execution and manage operational relationships effectively

People Development :

Manage an assignment-specific team of analysts and monitor performance to ensure timely and effective delivery

Experience :

- 6 -12 years

- Preference will be given to candidates who are having experience of working in a rating company or have worked in the credit / risk management team of a Bank or a product/ ITES company catering to BFSI

- Experience of using some of the origination systems or Rating Assessment Model (Crisils RAM/CRE, Moodys, ICRA, etc.) is preferable.

Skills required :

- Good understanding of the entire credit process from origination till monitoring for corporate and retail banking (preferably both or at least corporate) with in-depth exposure to one or more stages of the process

- Good understanding of various banking products (both corporate and retail)

- Understanding of Basel norms in credit risk management in Banks / FIs with background in IT/ Business Analyst role preferred

- Strong product conceptualization and designing skills

- Strong project management capabilities

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to deliver results under stringent timelines

- Flexibility to work on areas other than area of expertise if situation demands

- Should be willing to travel and open to short-duration stays at on-site locations
