Job title - Lead Analyst

Job Duties

- Develops business requirements definition, documentation and sign-off.

- Performs data and process analysis as a means to drive business solutions.

- Defines training requirements and provides training to end-users.

- Interacts with the different project stakeholders to inform them of the progress of requirements definition and the translation of these into technology build.

- Defines user acceptance test cases, executes and manages the activity with the Lead Business Analysts.

- Undertakes project support and test management duties.

- Applies quality assurance and control processes during the delivery of business requirements.

Qualification - CA

Skills required

- Expertise in accounting or financial services sector

- Well versed with IFRS

- Good problem-solving and analysis skills

- Identify and structure issues, and gather required data

- Accurately analyse and present data and synthesize recommendations

- Highly proficient in MS-Excel (including functionality such as pivot tables, lookups and graphing datasets)

- Strong delivery and stakeholder management skills

- Proven ability to manage in (virtual) teams with an open mind – including active listening skills and ability to handle and resolve team tensions

- Good communications and information sharing skills across all levels

- Presenting / co-presenting in person back to groups of key stakeholders

- Written communications – especially in project packs and status updates

- Proficient with producing high-quality documents in MS Word and PowerPoint

- Self-sufficient / driven / motivated – able to work with limited direction in a fast paced environment

- Fluent in English

- Reliable plan management discipline – building plans or task lists with clear deliverables, owners, and timescales; then regularly checking activities against plans/commitments – and escalating where needed

- Knowledge of or exposure to the Software Development Lifecycle
