Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Risk Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Group Risk limits under the LRAP (Large Risk Approval Process) framework in accordance with Group Credit Risk Standards. This role involves overseeing Company Group's LRAP Limits framework, ensuring compliance, and participating in the annual limit review process. The candidate will also be responsible for policy and procedure drafting, review, and maintenance, and will lead and collaborate on internal project, a framework/policy simplification initiative.


Key Responsibilities:


- Group Credit Risk Limit Control: Manage Group Risk limits under the LRAP framework, ensuring compliance with Group Credit Risk Standards. Oversee the LRAP Limits framework, including limit setting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and daily compliance. Monitor and report on Weighted Average Credit Scores. Responsible for timely communication and adherence to Group Grey and Watch list.

- Policy and Procedure Management: Draft, review, and maintain all Company Investment Risk related policies, ensuring regular updates and documentation and timely implementation across LBUs. Ensure all procedure manuals are in place and regularly reviewed by engaging key stakeholders within IRM across LBUs. Lead and collaborate on internal project, focusing on framework/policy simplification.

- Investment Risk Advisory Service: Participate in and contribute to document reviews, including RFPs, agreement/new product/sub manager due diligence , fund document refreshes, and etc.

- Business Management Support: Assist the Head of IRM in planning and ensuring timely delivery of BAU tasks, project milestones, and reporting for various stakeholders.

- ERM and Compliance Exercises: Support firm-wide ERM or Compliance driven exercises such as RCSA, PRISM, MUDA inventory, regulator surveys, ISAE audit, and etc.

- Libor Risk Monitoring: Lead efforts in Libor risk monitoring and reporting to relevant stakeholders, including the Head of IRM, Libor SteerCo, and regulators.

Qualifications:

- Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment risk management, with a strong background in 2nd line framework and procedures in banking and asset management industry.

- Skills:

- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new challenges.

- Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, particularly in written English.

- Proficient in policy drafting, review, and maintenance.

- Experience in managing risk limits and compliance processes.

- Ability to lead and collaborate on projects and initiatives.

- Basic knowledge in ERM and compliance framework.
