Job Title : Research/Senior Research Analyst - Asia Economics - Fx and rates

Job Summary :

To support the Fx and rates analyst team in coverage - this includes analysing economics themes, writing reports and creating power-point presentations

Location : Mumbai, India

Experience : 2-3 years

Job duties :

- Economics research and analysis - analysis of government bond issues, Fx rate movements, economic trends

- Factual report writing to highlight themes and comment on bond issues

- Extracting data from Bloomberg and building economic databases, database analysis, charting

- Working on client requests by pulling and collating data from public and analyst resources

- Making country level PowerPoint presentations highlighting economic trends and trade positions

Qualification : BA/MA Economics, MBA

Skills Required :

- Good knowledge of economics: complete understanding of government bond issues, and how monetary policy affects interest rates and exchange rates

- Good analytical capability to identify and explore long term trends, generate trade ideas

- Strong excel and charting/graphics skills

- Bloomberg proficiency

- Good communication
