CRISIL - Equity Research Role - Buy Side

Location : Pune

Experience 2 - 5 years

Job Duties

- The role involves supporting US-based Asset Management client's Investment research team

- The broad spectrum of work may include the following :

- Perform deep dive fundamental research on universe of investments

- Build new / update existing company models & research notes on a regular basis keeping in line with the investment and compliance process requirements

- Undertake research projects at the Industry/ Macro/ Country level including data updates and analysis

- Assist in the construction and management of a portfolio of long/short equity & related instruments with a focus on generating high returns

- Search and aggregation tasks

- Preparation of exhibits, charts and tables

Qualification CA / MBA (Finance), CFA (US) with prior experience in Equity Research

Skills required :

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts. Should be able to independently create, update and forecast financial models

- Attention to detail/diligence, ability to stretch and learn, high analytical rigor and problem-solving skills

- Good command over MS Excel, MS office tools, Bloomberg

- Prior knowledge of buy-side / ER preferred
