Equity Research Analyst - European Insurance and banking

Job Summary: Support Insurance and banking sector equity research analyst of a large European sell side research firm.

Functions/Responsibilities:

- Build end to end financial models for European Insurance and banking companies under coverage. It also includes understanding sector drivers and forecast company's financial statements and conducting valuation

- Update models for earnings and events

- Search and aggregation on sector and companies

- Contribute to sections of initiation notes

- Provide data and analysis based on various client request

- Build and update sector databases in Excel

Competencies:

- Should have excellent financial modeling skills

- Ability to think and work independently

- Excellent client management and communication

- 2-4 years- experience in tracking banking and insurance companies

Education:

- Chartered Account and/or MBA (Finance) from reputed institute
