Crisil - Equity Research Analyst - Banking Sector

Job summary: To support a Hedge Fund analyst (Buy-Side) on day to day research from CRISIL office

Job duties

- Build end to end financial models from scratch for companies in coverage. Understand sector drivers and forecast company's financial statements and conduct valuation

- Update and restructure models for earnings and events

- Contribute to initiations and earning notes

- Build and update sector databases in Excel

- Provide support on ad-hoc client request

Qualification

- MBA in Finance from reputed institute / CA / CFA

Skills Required

- Prior relevant experience in Equity Research (Indian banking/financial services sector)

- Should be excellent in Financial Modelling

- Good accounting and finance knowledge

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Should have excellent MS Excel skills

- Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters

- Ability and willingness to work for long hours and in highly pressured environment
