CRISIL - Equity Research Analyst

Job title - Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst

Location- Mumbai / Pune

Experience - 2 to 5 years

Sector Experience: Consumer Staples / Consumer (retail) / Media, etc..,

Project

- Our client, a Global Investment bank, is looking for support to maintain its Equity Research analysis.

- The candidate would be required to work with a team of senior equity analysts

European region

Key assignments would include:

- Assist the team in research publications on sector fundamentals, including daily news flow, earnings preview / review, initiation and thematic notes

- Write sections of sector and company reports based on fundamental Equity Research

- Prepare/update equity models, including projections, peer comparison, ratio analysis and valuation

- Maintain and update Media databases

Required skills:

- MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA with prior experience in Equity Research (mandatory)

- Sound understanding of various equity fundamentals and valuation models

- Experience in analyzing financial statements and ability to form strong opinions

- Good report writing and financial modeling skills

- Proficiency in MS Office and Bloomberg

Desired Skills:

- Prior equity research experience in above mentioned sectors would be preferred

- Good Team Player

- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver within tight deadlines

- Excellent attention to detail

- Should understand the workflow of an Investment Banking operation

Advantage for the Candidate: If He / She has relevant Experience and Shorter Notice period.
