CRISIL - Credit Research - Munis/Public Sector Entities/Supranationals

We are looking to hire Credit Analysts with Experience in Munis/public sector entities/ supranationals research. Kindly find the Job Profile given below

Education : MBA/CA/US CFA with around 3-4 years of experience

Experience : As mentioned above

Certifications : MBA/CA/US CFA

Responsibilities :

- Work with a team of analysts covering Munis/public sector entities/ supranationals (local and regional governments or corporations owned by municipalities)

- Preparing opinion based credit notes for Munis/public sector entities/ supranationals

- Regular surveillance of the universe by proactively tracking the sector

- Support in on-going maintenance activities

- Engage with client teams proactively and suggest new ideas to enhance client engagement

- Establish and maintain consistent standards and processes in credit analysis through interaction with sector specialists and senior analysts

- Assist managers/ADs/Director on account level initiatives, pilot assignments, prepare collaterals and farming activities

- Responsible for client and project management, need-based trainings, process initiatives and quality improvements of the team

- Conduct recruitment, content review, mentor and train new hires in the division

Core Skills :

- At least 3+ years of experience in covering Munis/public sector entities/ supranationals, preferably in the EMEA region

- Report writing (Credit Notes) experience

- Excellent understanding of credit factors impacting Munis/public sector entities/ supranationals

- Experience in delivery of structured solutions to clients

- Understanding of the dynamics of the industry

Other : Business/Industry knowledge/competencies:

- Good understanding of the trends in public finance and global financial markets

- Working knowledge on Bloomberg is preferred
