CRISIL - Credit Research Analyst - High Yield

Job title: High Yield Credit Research

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in High Yield Credit research

Job Duties

- Preparing and updating the Investment Memos for the companies in coverage. Strong understanding of fundamental credit analysis with an ability to identify the key strengths and risks of the company

- Regular surveillance of assigned portfolio by proactively tracking the company events (including quarterly earnings), peer group and other industry information sources

- Support in content review, mentor and train new hires in the division

- Strong understanding of capital structures, covenant analysis, recovery analysis and interpretation of indentures

- Experience in covering primary market transactions would be preferable (should have analysed OMs)

- Strong understanding of credit ratings and related methodologies

- Good financial modeling skills and preferably some experience in writing investment notes (background in writing recommendations would be a strong plus)

- Exposure to relative value concepts would be a positive

- Similarly any sector exposure (energy etc.) would also be a positive

- Support the client with any other ad-hoc research requests

Qualification MBA/CA/US CFA

Skills Required

- At least 4 years of experience in the Credit domain having experience

- Strong financial modeling and credit report writing skills

- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting standards

- Experience in delivery of structured solutions to clients

- Understanding of the industry dynamic
