Key responsibilities involve:
Identifying gaps in the current process:
- Troubleshoot problems within existing process and optimize them
- Individual should have inquisitiveness and thirst to explore application and new technology
- Proactively create, organize, track, and report status on team-wide tasks and initiatives
Create Automated Solutions:
- Set up optimal report deliverable, enhance existing process, bring efficiency in existing set up, assist in process improvement and maintain data integrity.
- Structure the responses/ revenue submissions / dataset and draw trends out of fragmented and inconsistent data.
- Streamline and automate of existing processes
- Develop and maintain end-user excel macros that support client deliverable production
- Debug instances to ensure smooth response during deliveries
Talent Development & Stakeholder Management :
- Leading process improvement, skill development, technology/tool development initiatives
- Coordinating relationships to ensure the utilization and success of products
- Mentor and train new research analysts. Conduct training and review documentation on new technologies
- Foster a cohesive, creative and comfortable working environment, mediating any personal issue within the team
Business:
- Build or assist in building and maintaining models to estimate granular, product level key performance metrics for Investment banks (e.g., Revenue, cost, Risk weighted assets) and create market size estimates for Investment and transaction banking products
- Organize, analyse, synthesize and summarise data and information using appropriate analytical methodologies and frameworks. Conduct quantitative analysis (statistical analysis, financial data analysis etc.) as necessary
- Maintain data integrity, data validation and should be risk compliant
- Provide support for senior team members in BAU as and when required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- The successful candidate will have to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes likely to have been gained over five years of relevant experience:
- Strong project management experience - A proven ability to manage multiple work streams and organize matrixed resources in order to meet tight and/or changing deadlines
Programming: Python, R, SQL, Power Automate, VBA Macros
Data Visualization: Tableau, Qlick view, Splunk, Microsoft Power BI, SAP Web Intelligence
- Strong quantitative skills, an analytical mind and an ability to work with significant amounts of data, both numerical and qualitative
- Ability to take decisions while working with unstructured and limited information
- A strong degree of independence and self-motivation
- Prior experience in Financial Services, consulting, or data analytics
- People and Time Management skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
