- Handles all aspects of client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions
- Guides analysts in executing transactions within their portfolio, including highly complex structures, supports analysts in rating committees, and prepares material for ratings publication
- Manages the support provided to the credit rating process for a portfolio ratings team in an assigned industry/sector, which are typically complex in nature and may have high cross-industry considerations
- Ensures that analytical guidelines, quality standards, procedures and policies established are adhered to within the team
- Maintains the integrity of internal systems that support the rating process and champions continuous improvement efforts including the introduction of new tools, models, and processes to deliver quality outcomes
- Contributes to business activity including developing knowledge and identifying opportunities for the firm or its clients
- Helps in determining department strategy and priorities, champions and supports organization decisions and business strategies in a credible way
- Manages the work of a team (staff, resources, quality, etc.) and ensures the quality of their work
