Role Summary: The role comprises a blend of managing research engagements and driving business franchise growth through targeted outreach initiatives across functions. Key responsibilities: Franchise and business development - Liaise with business heads and business development team to identify opportunities and drive market outreach aligning with the division's strategic agenda - Develop an account plan for identified target clients including insights on relevant businesses and their key decision makers - Take initiatives towards franchise development to demonstrate CRISIL's domain leadership (in white papers, point of view notes, webinars, etc.) Client engagement - Develop, maintain and foster strong client relationships and lead multiple client engagements independently - Build strong connections with clients, help grow the franchise by identifying client focus areas, and make a business case to engage CRISIL to achieve its business outcomes Project and team management - Establish new client engagements, ensure appropriate workflow planning, resource utilisation, quality assurance and client satisfaction - Lead large teams of lead, senior and research analysts, and ensure smooth business operations by liaising with lead analysts and guiding them in problem solving - Own recruitment, training, coaching and development of team members for career progression Essential Qualification: MBA / CA / CFA Professional Skills: - Relevant project management experience in financial research, with experience in leading and growing multiple client engagements - Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills, with experience of leading large research teams - Experience and enthusiasm of working with senior leadership on franchise development, client acquisition/farming and related business growth activities - Entrepreneurial mindset, relationship building and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated, ability to handle ambiguity
