POSITION: Business Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Business Analyst would be one of the central resource and driving force for the CRIF High mark (CHM) software offering. He/She will be the main interface between Internal & External Customers/Prospects and CHM internal delivery and support resources. This resource will be accountable for design, development and specification of new/redesigned processes, systems, information, documentation and supporting materials producing reports. Recommending changes, consulting with customers where appropriate, to ensure that their requirements are fully understood and met.

ROLE AND ACTIVITIES DESCRIPTION:

Main activities:

1) To use CHM processes and tools to manage day-to-day activities, implement improvements and to assist in problem resolution.

2) Working with software teams to design and implement solutions within new systems under development.

3) Engage directly with executives of financial companies, to deliver presentations explaining CHM's specific software solutions that help their institutions.

4) Coordinate with the Product Manager & Support to CHM's Sales & Account Managers & Clients with products demos and pre-sales activity.

5) Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and map multiple systems, data models and user workflow for collaborative platform

6) Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis

7) Undertake delivery of designated activities in order to provide an effective service to internal stakeholders and customers

8) Experience related to technology and product management. Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

9) Undertake assignments and projects, researching opportunities, defining, developing and implementing procedures relating to specialist/operational policies/ products/ services and where appropriate, wider business strategies. Manage projects, taking responsibility for the development and implementation of specific deliverables and ensuring these are achieved within the required time, cost and quality parameters.

10) Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business

11) Ensure compliance with procedures, guidelines and reporting requirements as well as any relevant regulatory and statutory requirements

12) A solid understanding of software developing processes - SDLC, Agile, Iterative, Change Management

13) Be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designated requirements

14) Ensure quality control procedures are in place for all deliverable's, data & process MIS.

ROLE COMPETENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

- A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business analysis or an equivalent field.

- Independent performer & ability to track Project progress/risk

- Ability to identify requirements and categorize/prioritize issues.

- English proficiency (Oral and Written)

- Vision to identify areas for innovative solutions to address local needs or to enter new business markets

FORMER AND CURRENT WORK EXPERIENCE:

- Experience related to technology and product management. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple customers/products simultaneously are required.

- Good understanding of software developing processes.

- Proven ability to work on assignments that require data evaluation, recommendation development, and decision making.

- A self-directed team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others, freely offers assistance.

- Superior problem solving, organizational, communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to set and manage expectations individually and also with clients and internal technical.

- Strong facilitation skills.

- Ability to travel (both domestic and international) between 10 and 20%

Location :- Pune

Experience:

- 3-4 years- experience as Business Analyst/Product Specialist: Preferably in the design of web based software solutions in Credit Industry
