Credit Suisse - Vice President - Product Control

Product Control-Production team is looking for an experienced Product Controller in Pune. The Product Control teams are our financial guardians of the bank's sales and trading activities and therefore play a critical part within the broader finance organisation in delivering service excellence to our clients.

You will be responsible for the following activities:

- Direct management of P & L Validation & Reporting, and wider a team of approx. 10 People.

- Responsible for the training and career development of the team

- Review of P&L production processes including:

- FOBO Review

- P&L Analysis

- P&L Reporting

- P&L Commentary

- Month End Cut Off Controls

- SOX Testing

- Liaison across other teams within PC & Finacne Change group

- Face off to senior PC management on daily P&L issues

- Take ownership of issues that arise from the day to day and monthly processes with a view to resolving these in an efficient and timely manner

- Reviewing and implementing process improvements over the wider group.

Qualifications:

Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field - Mandatory.

- Possess a CA or CFA or CPA degree

- Excellent understanding of Financial Products within an Investment Banking Environment

- Comprehencive knowledge of the front to back office flows in a Banking Business and potential inherent control and operational risks

- Approximately 10 -12 years post qualification. Preference for Product Control

- Strong Project Management Experience is desirable

- Having Global Experience in Reputed Investment banks & handling Multi culture locations

- Proactive and able to suggest solutions and have the drive to implement changes

- Attention to detail

- Numerical competency and accuracy

- Strong Communication, leadership and Organisational skills

- Well organised and should be able to meet deadlines

- Adapting to change
