This role is a VP position in a Captive (India) within GCP (Global Cash Product) Settlement Team.

Candidate for the Global Cash Product (GCP) Captive (India) Settlement team should express a desire to work in an America's shift and should have the robust experience, knowledge in FX, Money Market and OTC Settlement. The candidate should have a control and risk mindset and should have minimum 14-16 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking.

The candidate would be expected to lead a team, have excellent communication skills both verbally and written, be able and confident to challenge and to champion change and initiatives, both internally and externally. The candidate should be able to work closely with Credit Suisse's external vendor partners.

Primary Responsibilities for the Role would include but are not limited to the below:

- Build and maintain governance of India Captive Functional team

- Manage Overall vendor performance/risk oversight

- Contact point for functional managers, internal and external clients

- Risk and Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders

- Incident management

- Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, complete/review checklists and procedures whilst working towards strict deadlines is an essential requirement.

- Possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

- Communication with Front Office, Trading Personnel and External Clients is a fundamental part of the role.

- High level of integrity and commitment to working in a changing and challenging environment.

- Manage efficiently and effectively team size of 8-10 and/or multiple teams comprising team size of 4-6 and should be able to conduct performance reviews.

- Monitor Supervisory controls on day to day basis

- Manage Run the Bank/Change the Bank Change initiatives.

- Manage human capital, attrition, cross training plans etc

- A pro-active approach is expected that will challenge processes whilst working with the business providing a quality customer service on a daily basis. This will involve daily contact with both trading desk and external customers. Candidates for this role should express a desire to work in a challenging team environment and possess an understanding on either of Equities, Fixed Income, Stock Loan and Prime Brokerage, FX, OTC, Money markets settlement and Asset Servicing.

Desirable:

- A good settlement background in either of FX, OTC, Money Markets, Asset Servicing or Cash Securities within the broker/dealer environment and the risks and controls surrounding this function.

- Strong leadership can drive change and be comfortable within the senior Mgmt environment. Has previous remote mgmt. experience and deployment to vendors/captive.
