Vice President - Risk Management

Your field of responsibility :
Be a senior team member within the global enterprise risk function responsible for the systematic identification and escalation of material risks to management and the Board. Support Risk ID management team in executing key Risk Identification objectives linked to quarterly and annual processes, support analysis linking Risk ID to risk appetite setting, scenario design, and Capital Planning downstream. Partner with business, risk, and finance stakeholders around the globe to understand all business activities, and provide comprehensive material risk inventories.

The Group Risk ID and Assessment Function includes a global team of stakeholders largely engaged in operations and execution, research and analysis, review and challenge activities involving collaboration with hundreds of stakeholders across the globe. A number of full-time staff ranging from Vice President to Analyst work in a dynamic, proactive, and demanding environment.

Your skills and experience :
- You are a subject matter expert and experienced team player, with a track record of delivering challenging objectives and high team morale. Core competencies and experience include:
- Solid experience in the financial services independently coordinating the implementation of a large frameworks, programs, functions, or projects
- Educated to degree level in a quantitative discipline, with excellent understanding of risk measures and analytics, primarily in Market Risk and (or) Credit Risk
- Working knowledge of other risk functions. For example: Treasury & Liquidity Risk, Operational and Compliance Risk, Strategic/Business Risk/Financial Planning & Analysis, and (or) Model Risk
- Knowledge of financial products including fixed income and equity products (cash and derivatives)
- Demonstrate the highest levels of intellectual curiosity, including proactive and ongoing self-education on a wide range of conceptual and technical areas
- Comfortable asking questions in challenging environments
- Ability to work independently and assume creative responsibility for complex deliverables, balancing delegation with hands-on leadership
- Understanding of stress testing techniques, VaR, risk appetite controls, and related industry best practices
- Strong written and oral communication / presentation skills, including the ability to provide executive level content
- Attention to detail in regards to owning and reviewing policy, procedure, and controls, including the performance of control testing
- A team player, comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving, and demanding environment
