An exciting journey to join the Private Banking Research group (part of the Investment Strategy and Products division) in Credit Suisse. The group works on fundamental and quantitative research in verticals like Equities, Fixed Income/ Credit, FX, Macro and others and contributes through top-down and bottom-up inputs as part of the Investment life cycle. Investment Strategy and Research publishes periodic investment reports for all these asset classes which are distributed to its advisory clientele and as a support for the investment decision making by the global Investment Committee.

The role of a Research Analyst key deliverables includes the following:
Domain related
- Lead a team of Equity/Credit research analyst responsible to cover Global Financials sector
- Initiation and maintenance of research through end-to-end reports on companies/sectors that includes thorough analysis of business drivers, macro events, industrial and regulatory developments, competitive positioning and relative analysis with peers
- Studying fundamental industry trends and coverage of individual companies in financials sector across global equity and credit markets. Coverage universe includes large-mid size Banks, Asset management and Insurance companies in Europe, US, Asia and Middle East
- Analysis of macro-economic events, regulatory framework across geographies and capital markets
- Maintaining research data, tracking corporate results and events on a day-to day basis
- Build and maintain financial models for financial Institutes
Functional
- Preparing presentations, studies (for internal and end-clients) and contributing to daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly publications
- Generating innovative and successful investment ideas and solutions for clients
- Connect and coordinate successfully with on-shore equity and credit analysts
You Offer:
- Post-graduation degree in MBA/CA required. CFA charter or working towards CFA charter would be preferred
- 3-6 years of experience, preferably in equity/credit research covering global financial sector
- Dynamic personality with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate, summarize and discuss investment case succinctly
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Ability to build relationships and communicate with global stakeholders
- Work independently and take strong ownership of tasks
