Credit Suisse - Portfolio Analyst - Bonds - IIT

We offer :

- Understanding the client requirements/constraints to create new bond portfolios to subsequently be leveraged based on existing Research recommendations/ratings

- Constant monitoring of the existing and new leveraged bond portfolios created for clients.

- Suggesting bond switch recommendations for replacing bonds in existing portfolios

- Connect and co-ordinate successfully with on-shore research analysts, as well as off-shore lending consultants and private banking relationship managers and create a winning team.

- Enhance IT-tools used to construct and monitor bond portfolios

- Proactively make recommendations to enhance quality, efficiency, and information content of monitoring and improve portfolio construction

- Periodically perform health checks of portfolios being monitored

You Offer :

Qualifications

- Advanced Economics/ Engineering/Finance degree from reputed University/ IIT or equivalent college, with added qualifications like FRM/ CFA preferred.

- Minimum 1 year of professional experience (preferably in credit research/bonds selection).

- Broad understanding of the bond markets and the impact of market variables on bond prices

- Working knowledge of Excel. Advanced Excel programming skills are an advantage. Preferred knowledge of VBA programming.

Competencies

- Solid knowledge in bond fundamentals and applications

- Ability to pick bonds from a global universe, given a set of constraints

- Should be able to articulate complex thoughts and ideas into simple language and communicate them with ease

- Working knowledge of handling data sources like Bloomberg

- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills

- Should be a quick learner ; showing high energy and drive to accomplish results

- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.

- Ability to work under stress and set priorities to meet demands from relationship managers

- Should be able to generate ideas, test and implement them.

- Excellent writing and PowerPoint skills and fluent English.
