Credit Suisse Trust, an arm of the Private Banking group of the Credit Suisse, is responsible for structuring solutions that address the Bank's wealth management clients- needs.

The Solution Structuring group (STR) within Credit Suisse Trust provides its partners and HNWI and UHNWI clients with sophisticated tailor made Trust and Estate planning solutions. STR provides clients and partners with best-in-class solutions and supports them in legal, tax and regulatory matters relating to Trust and Estate planning. STR is effectively operating as an internal law firm within a leading global provider of Trust and Estate planning solutions. This unique proposition distinguishes us from other industry players. To this end, Credit Suisse Trust has set up a small team of Business Analysts in the CoE in Mumbai.

Role Details:

Monitoring and Research:

- Proactive screening of trust related regulatory, legal and tax environments through a cross-border approach

- Cutting through complexity to provide clear, precise and insightful results on the changes in trust and taxation laws

- Analysis of existing country-specific offerings to identify gaps or opportunities

- Development of decision basis and solution concepts for management within Credit Suisse Trust.

Project management :

- Close cooperation with a team of lawyers within Credit Suisse Trust Zurich for the development and implementation of business projects within the trust and the insurance offerings

- Regulation-based projects, to facilitate the business in enabling informed changes in their offerings

- Development & maintenance of a global knowledge database through publishing of Global Tax Newsletter, Compliance Report, Data Protection Report, etc.

You Offer :

Qualifications / Competencies:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in corporate legal / taxation areas in multinational corporates, accounting or consulting firms or banks with international presence

- Bachelor's degree in Law, specialization in corporate and tax laws preferred

- Exposure to international legal jurisdictions, preferred exposure to global wealth management products and processes

- Strong orientation towards research, fact-finding, analysis and interpretation

- Strong writing and language skills in English

- Strong communication skills

- Experienced in working with MS Office - Word, Excel and PPT

- Multi-tasking abilities

- Good team player, with an ability to handle individual tasks effectively

- Willingness and ability to learn on the job.
