You Offer

- This role is to handle the analysis and development of the controls, reporting and analytics across the Reconciliations department. You are expected to deliver against the following core responsibilities:

- Accountable for providing a high level risk review, process performance, efficiency and relationship management

- Solid skills with computers, operating systems and software (MS Office Suite, MS Project, and other IT applications)

- Strong VBA skills and demonstrable data analysis and data analytic skills including: mining data, interpreting results, working with statistics, trends, etc.

- You will look for improvements in execution to provide effective controls and efficiency.

- Drive root cause analysis

- Liaison with Ops Business Partners, Front Office, Trade Management and IT groups as appropriate

- Participate in UAT testing, implementation and integration of new reconciliation processes as required

- Perform analysis of the existing reconciliation processes in order to assess the strength of the controls and identify areas for improvement

- Work with IT Teams to get the raw data and review the extraction criteria, normalization and data cleansing processes.

- Implement Data Analytics into production management of Reconciliations and Trade Validation Controls.

- Help coordinate the use of Data Analytics in the ongoing risk assessment of trade validation processes across reconciliations

- Plan, perform and manage execution/reporting on Tactical Process and Strategic program

- Participate in short term data mining activities aimed at profiling process exceptions.

- Dedicatedly engage key partners to find opportunities to use technology and analytics in connection with risk assessment and production management.

- Should be flexible with between APAC & EMEA support hours

Skills & Knowledge

- Strong academic record (minimum Degree) with 10+ year's prior experience of financial services.

- Previous reconciliations experience is desirable

- Knowledge of Cash, Equities, FI, OTC, FX and Money market products.

Demonstrable analytical skills

- Solid skills with computers, operating systems and software (MS Office Suite, MS Project, and other IT applications)

- Strong VBA skills and demonstrable data analysis and data analytic skills including: mining data, interpreting results, working with statistics, trends, etc.

- Knowledge of data quality and data cleansing techniques.

- Experience of using data analytics and visualization products and technologies

- Experience of banking or asset management environments.

- You should have strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.

- You should have strong interpersonal skills.

- Excellent presentation and report writing skills.

- You should have the ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise manner in both written and verbal presentations across all levels of management.

- You should have deep understanding of the importance of handling risk and quality on data projects.
