Credit Suisse Group (CSG) Internal Audit is an independent global function, comprising 260 staff based predominantly in London, Zurich, New York, and Singapore. It supports the strategic objectives of CSG through its critical assessment of key processes, risks and controls across all business within CSG. Internal Audit is seeking to build a new data analytics team at the Bank’s Mumbai Centre of Excellence (CoE). Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

- Provide Data Analytics support to the global Internal Audit department
- Provide Internal Audit analytics to identify risks and root causes
- Turn business questions into functional analysis – understands the business as well as the data behind the analysis and can clearly communicate results and recommendations
- Present actionable data and analytics to Business Auditors and other relevant stakeholders
- Provide technical and data expertise to the data analytics group, including being conversant with and cognizant of relevant technology solutions or tools
- Work closely with technical teams based in Switzerland, EMEA, APAC and Americas to streamline the process of extracting data from source systems and migration into the analytics environment
- Help business teams develops auditing programs based on analytics with a focus on reusability and continuous monitoring
- Monitor performance of existing and/or new automated programs to optimize results
- Serve as an internal expert in data sources, methodologies, and data interpretation of constraints present in the business environment
- Develop and use new ways of presenting data analytics to business stakeholders which is easier and faster to comprehend
- Participate, when required, in Data Analytics team and Communities of Interest (COI) meetings
- Participate in data management audits as required.
You offer:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent (1st or 2.1 class)
- Strong experience in the use of SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Experience with leveraging Business Intelligence tools to create actionable insights
- Excellent business analytical skills – both conceptual and practical
- Working experience, preferably in financial industry
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Proven quantitative, organizational, strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication skills
- Progressive thinker, able to expand analytics offering through development of new ideas
- Experience working with multifunctional teams
- Ability to work with all levels of the business
- Prior experiences managing multiple tasks and priorities that are ever changing
- Programming or scripting experience in relevant industry, highly desirable
- Highly self motivated
