We offer :

The successful candidate will join the Operational Risk Capital team which is a team of experienced Operational Risk managers who focus upon the measurement and management of Operational Risk Capital under the advanced Basel II approach. This team is located within the Operational Risk Management Department which is part of the Risk Division.

The hire will support the maintenance of the Operational Risk Scenario Framework for the Credit Suisse Group as well as the UK / US Legal Entities which includes:

- Collection of appropriate risk and control information for the scenarios from a wide range of sources e.g. Audit Reports, SOX Controls Matters, Top Operational Risk, Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).

- Supporting scenario workshops with senior business experts, the output of which is used in the Operational Risk Capital Model.

- Development of a revised governance structure for the scenario program, in addition to ensuring that any policies, standards and procedures relating to the scenario program are up to date.

- Preparation of Operational Risk loss data analysis for the Operational Risk Capital Model including outlier analysis, data quality checks and technical investigations.

- Ongoing development of the links between the scenario program and other components of the Operational Risk Framework particularly with RCSAs.

You Offer:

- Educated to a degree level.

- Proven relevant work experience in a financial institution with solid understanding and practical experience of Operational Risk management in a Basel II environment. Experience in control-focused roles / scenario analysis preferable.

Personal skill requirements:

- Experience in an Operational Risk - OpRisk scenario analysis preferred.

- Experience in dealing with material for meetings with senior management across different functions.

- Ability to communicate logically and precisely, including producing high-quality written documentation, is essential.

- Good planning and coordination skills are essential.

- Team player but comfortable with self-working.
