Job Profile :  GL Account Ownership (GLAO):  - Ensure smooth and timely Account Ownership sign off completion in GLASS tool on a monthly basis.  - Ensure that monthly reconciliation templates are made available for review by FA.  - Detailed reconciliation breaks reviews after GLASS close. Ensure that break has been understood thoroughly with respect to IT issue, downstream issues, timing differences etc.   - Ensure that an appropriate commentary is provided by owners for monthly MIS reporting.  - Ensure correct break grouping is applied e.g. Historical/aged breaks to be categorized accordingly  - Co-ordinate with PC Ops Risk and Global Ops Ops Risk teams to ensure the breaks in their departments are reviewed appropriately.  - Ensure monthly regional Account Ownership report is accurate and all the material breaks are covered for discussions with LEC’s  - Involvement in resolving ownership dispute. Discussions with Account owners and understanding the rationale of dispute.  - Ensuring that correct Reconciliation Standards are applicable to PSFT accounts.  - Ensure that PSFT Account opening process consist of details required as per Global agreement.  - Conduct GLAO training sessions for users as and when required  - Ensure adherence of GLAO policy  QAR:  - Quality Assurance Reviews for FA and SHS Others department  - Release QAR ratings based on discussions with Account balance owner and judgments  - Comply with the annual targets  Metrics Reporting:  - Collate Regional KPI/KRI submission in order that the global reporting can be completed on a timely basis.  - Review the global reporting and ensure information is accurately reported.  - Collate the Control Improvement Plan (CIP) information from various regions and follow up for over due CIP  Key Contacts  - Entity Controllers  - Operations  - Product Control  - Support departments such as Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) and Tax  - Other regional Operational Risk and Control teams  - ORC IT department for GLAO system  Key Skills Required:  REQUIRED SKILLS  - Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  - Strong attention to detail  - Ability to multi-task in a complex environment  - Effective verbal and written communication skills  - Ability to learn and apply learning quickly  - Excellent team player  - Problem solving skills  - Time management – organizing and prioritizing work  - Ability to work to strict reporting deadlines  DESIRED SKILLS  - Financial and Management Accounting  - Investment Banking industry knowledge  WORK EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND  - Public accounting & audit experience desired but not required  - Prior Financial Services Industry experience desired but not required  - Investment Banking Financial Product Experience desired but not required  EDUCATION  Chartered Accountant with 6-8 years’ experience.
