We Offer

An exciting opportunity for a new manager for the Allocations team, based in Pune, the India Center of Excellence. The Allocations team works to ensure that Global Corporate Functions Expenses and Headcount are allocated to the Business Divisions in accordance with the allocations governance policy.

You will be responsible for managing, as well as contributing to, the execution of cost allocations, coordinating the efforts of a team of around 3- 5, whose objective is to deliver transparency into the bank-wide cost base. This team interacts with the business in gathering data for calculating allocation statistics, conducting Labour studies and answering their queries. In addition, the allocations team also works across the organization to ensure the execution of strategic decisions and implementation of any major changes to allocation processes and design.

Responsibilities in this role include:

- End-to-end ownership of Allocations process, including timely delivery of monthly allocations reports

- Responsible for human capital management, training & development and managing attrition

- Responsible for Quarterly Access reviews (GARS), team cost review and access controls (MyAccess)

- Developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate controls, reconciliations and process documentation

- Supporting the Business Divisions in explaining allocations to the business divisions and corporate functions

- Delivering high quality responses to information requests in a time-pressured environment

- Ownership of Balance Sheet Accounts and Reconciliation

- Providing expertise on Reorganization and Restatements within Group Finance

- Participate in discussions on IT prioritization. Act as Systems SME for Allocations team

- Document business process, solicit and create business requirements for IT projects

- Participate in functional design review, creating User Acceptance test cases, execute UAT

- Maintain allocation systems, follow application issues to closure

You Offer

- CA or MBA Finance with minimum 8-10 years- experience in either or a combination of the following: Banking, Financial Services or Audit & Advisory services industry.

- Previous experience in Cost Allocations, FP&A, Forecasting & Budgeting

- Good understanding of cost allocations concepts and practices, including legal entity charging

- Held finance roles in a large, global institution

- Strong people management skills

- Ability to communicate appropriately with people at all levels within the organization

- Flexible approach with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

- Strong attention to detail and high quality delivery with the ability to manage large quantities of data

- Structured, analytical approach with a high sense of customer focus

- Experience in all or some of the following tools: MS Office, Essbase, PeopleSoft. Previous experience in system change project will be an added advantage

- Strong understanding of Business applications architecture and interfaces.

- Ability to document unambiguous business requirements and comfortable in communicating with IT

- Strong background as an SME in previous IT projects. Previous roles as Business Project Manager or as Change Manager preferred

- Prior experience in Allocations related IT projects is highly desire
