Your field of responsibility
The role is in the Client Assets Team, within the WM COO - Business Risk and Process Solutions organization. The teams key focus is ensuring that Wealth Management is recognizing Assets Under Management (AuM) and Assets Under Custody (AuC) in line with the Client Assets Policy, as well as supporting the business on all AuM matters. The role primarily supports the Wealth Management APAC Business.
- The Client Assets Team provides an advisory role as the SME for Wealth Management on the AuM/AuC topic with key partners being Relationships Managers, Team Leaders, Market Group Heads and Chief of Staffs
- You will have the opportunity to develop and be a business enabler in ensuring that client asset flows are recognized and reported in alignment with the Client Assets Application Guidelines and Policy
- You will gain exposure to key front-to-back business processes that are critical for WM thereby allowing you to actively identify and assess financial misreporting risk across WM and where relevant, recommend creative solutions to handle, mitigate and monitor identified risks and address underlying issues by driving process changes or improvements to the controls
- You will participate in division-wide AuM/AuC forums as well as drive related agenda within the relevant WM governance forums. You will assist in various AuM/AuC related projects/working groups with regional and location partners and have frequent interactions with senior business partners, including PB APAC Management
- You will think and plan strategically such that automation and efficiency initiatives can be embedded within existing/ongoing TOM projects, where possible, given that compliance with the policy/guidelines is integral for the PB business, and ensure that processes designed meet regulatory expectations, internal policies and procedures
- You will also continually review the Controls and Governance within APAC PB by establishing KRIs, metrics, Scorecard implications and ensure that these issues are receiving the right level of attention and pace of remediation based on priority.

The Client Assets Team sits within the Wealth Management COO organization. The team reports to the Head of the BRSP Client Assets Team. The team maintains governance and control framework in the first line for WM around client asset classification and recognition.
Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess below:
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant working experience in a global banking environment
- Strong preference for persons with at least 3 years' experience working in private banking front office, strategy, business management, controlling or risk functions. Financial knowledge or background is preferred
- Confident and articulate, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with senior executives independently and under pressure to deliver outcomes in adherence to project timelines
- Outstanding ability to multi-task in a very demanding and fast paced environment, taking owner-ship and accountability of tasks and projects from inception to conclusion
- Self-motivated with ability to think out of the box!
- Strong organizational and project management skills to track progress against achievements
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking with a result oriented approach and pragmatic implementation capabilities and ability in data interrogation, interpretation, and presentation
- The highest professional work ethic and performing fully in line with compliance standards, internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies
- Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
