Role Responsibilities:
- The Risk Process Change Management team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on the Credit Risk Information System for exposure calculations.
The job scope includes:
- Lead the team in functional analysis and propose change design and processes around the Credit Risk arena, in particular the Back testing project.
- Facilitate functional discussions with stakeholders.
- Review of functional specification document, test plans and regression results prepared and executed by the team.
- Collaborate with the regional teams in resource planning and allocation of assignments to ensure quality results within agreed timelines.
- Build close relationship with key stakeholders and business partners, maintain open communication and ensuring transparency at all stages of the release cycle.
- Provide up-to-date status report throughout the release cycle.
- Manage adhoc impact analysis requests.
- Provide direct line management to the team in Pune.
Desired Criteria:
Education / Experience:
- University Graduate with good honors degree
- A degree in Finance/Accountancy is a plus but not mandatory
- More than 10 years relevant work experience in Financial Institutions
- Has previously worked in the financial industry and managed sizable cross-border system implementation would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills, numerically competent
- Strong Business analysis and functional specification design
- Extensive system / project implementation experience
- In-depth understanding of business processes, financial products, credit risk management and regulatory requirements (eg. FSA Basel II/III; FINMA)
- Take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong team player: The team has a reputation of being able to deliver with quality and upholding these high standards individually and as a team will be given the highest priority
- Good interpersonal skills: Confident, strong communication skills with good work attitude, proactive
- Effective time management: Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Strong Analytical skills: Investigate issues with attention to details and accuracy
