The candidate is expected to deliver against the following core responsibilities:
Candidate for the Global Cash Product (GCP) Captive (India) Settlement team should express a desire to work in a very challenging team environment & have the robust experience & knowledge to be able to initiative conversation to fully question processes and functions. The candidate should have a control and risk mindset.
The candidate would be expected to lead a team, have excellent communication skills both verbally and written, be able and confident to challenge and to champion change and initiatives, both internally and externally. Able to work closely with Credit Suisse's external vendor partners and the candidate must have good knowledge and experience with at least one asset class they will be supporting i.e. FX, Money Markets and OTC.
Primary Responsibilities for the Role would include but are not limited to the below:
- Build and maintain governance of India Captive Functional team
- Manage Overall vendor performance/risk oversight
- Contact point for functional managers, internal and external clients
- Periodic reviews of KPI/KRI parameters and thresholds
- Incident management etc
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, complete/review checklists and procedures whilst working to strict deadlines is an essential requirement.
- Possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Manage efficiently and effectively team size of 6-8 and should be able to conduct performance reviews.
- Manage RTB/CTB Change initiatives.
Responsibilities, key- and control tasks:
Excellent attention to detail, pro-activeness, excellent communication skills, control-focused approach, and positive attitude. It's critical for the candidate to be autonomous and handle challenging situations on own and work closely with the other team members to ensure the highest quality results for our clients.
- To have effective problem solving and analytical skills and have good leadership skills.
- An ability to multitask, prioritize, complete/review checklists and procedures whilst working to strict deadlines is an essential requirement.
- Complete understanding of the global outsourcing policy and adherence to the policy.
- Self-motivated individual that can work on own initiative and deliver on time whilst also being a team player.
- A pro-active approach is expected that will challenge processes whilst working with the business providing a quality customer service on a daily basis. This will involve daily contact with both trading desk and external customers.
Candidates for the Vendor Oversight team should express a desire to work in a challenging team environment & possess an understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, Stock Loan and Prime Brokerage, FX, OTC and Asset Servicing, from the payable/receivable process to Mandatory Corporate Actions.
Desirable:
- A good Asset Servicing, FX, OTC or Cash Securities background within the broker/dealer environment and the risks and controls surrounding this function.
- Strong leadership can drive change and be comfortable within the senior Mgmt environment. Has previous remote mgmt. experience and deployment to vendors/captive.
