Credit Suisse - Assistant Vice President - Product Control - CA/CFA

We Offer:

L1 Supervisor responsible for team's key PC Centralised Processes viz.

1. Inter & Intra company recons, analyse/investigate break reasons in BS & P&L accounts

2. Own Share & Notes disclosures

3. IFRS Day 1 P&L reserve & FAS 149 requirement, Default book controller & account ownership

4. Audit & Regulatory management

Responsibilities :

- Review analyse, explain & validate the break explanations and/or correction provided by Line PC

- Review & post journals where required in relation to US GAAP or IFRS requirements.

- Providing subject matter expertise to Line stakeholders which require a good understanding of accounting, products & trade flows thin the bank (FO, Ops & FA)

- Act as PC CF&A representative on the given projects and assist.

- Take ownership of any issues that arise from the BAU processes with a view to resolving these efficiently & timely.

- Liaise with Line PC, FA, FO and Accounting Policy to drive consistency of accounting treatment and reporting

- Understand CS's architecture with regard to Front to back processing of derivatives

- Driving change & innovation agenda for team by divergent thinking to lead improvements & efficiencies

- Work independently, multi-task & performs supervision over teams tasks & moderately complex issues, with deliverables & timelines. Proactive escalation of complex issues

- Understand, ensure & operate within the framework of our Ethics & Conduct Values.

- Have a big picture view by extending awareness of risks associated with the business supported

- Take ownership, be accountable & collaborate others - Be a good manager by understanding pulse of the team

You Offer

Education / Experience:

- Possess a CA or/and CFA with proven track record.

- At least 5 years of work experience (Product control, Accounting and Reporting experience would be an advantage).

- Self-motivated with drive for excellence and strong Analytical ability.

- Good Communication and Organisational skills.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.

- Good expertise with MS Office application, knowledge of other innovative techniques and technological languages (R, Python, SQL, VBA) will be added
