Few notables among the multiple areas that we are responsible for:

- Product analytics: This includes both new product development and feature change of existing products. Impact of product features and marketing offers are established through rigorous analytical efforts to understand the shift in customer requirements and sentiments to enable recommendation of necessary changes to drive customer delight along with profitability

- Customer experience and Servicing analytics: Analytics to aid better experience for customer through enabling lower call hold time, immediate problem resolution in calls & complaints, better cross-sell experience. Advanced text analytics leveraged for such solutioning.

- P&L forecasting for Acquisition and ECM customers: Regular forecasts of Cards P&L at varied level of granularity to guide strategic budget and revenue planning

- Rewards forecasting: Forecasts for rewards reserve to identify quarterly reserve build or release for the rewards/cash portfolios impacting the P&L

Domain Skills:

In depth understanding of:

- Good awareness of Risk Policies

- Card Underwriting, Line Assignment

- Card Authorizations, Line Managements

- Understanding of IFRS 9, BCBS standards and its implications in consumer credit risk

- Knowledge on Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (- CCAR- ) & Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing (- DFAST- ) regulations

- Preferred- Knowledge of IFRS9, BCBS standards, CCAR, Stress Testing

Soft Skills:

- Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills

- Must have capability to clearly communicate analyses. Presentations to both technical and non-technical personnel are required to be made frequently as part of the job.

- Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment balancing between both business and functional interactions and priorities

- Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc.

- Ability to work effectively across portfolio risk policy teams and functional areas teams

Educational and Experience:

- Master degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Applications/Engineering from a premier institute

- BTech/B.E/MCA in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Applications

- Preferred - Post Graduate in - Masters in computers

- 4-7 years of relevant work experience in MIS / Reporting / Data analytics/Data Management within Banking / Financial Services / Analytics Industry

Expertise Required:

Analytical Skills:

Data Extraction and Data Manipulation:

- Working with the huge databases to meet the data needs for the project and play an SME role ensuring understanding of end to end data processes, system, Architecture etc.

- SAS hands-on experience is a must, should be an expert in data management using SAS

- Should be able to mentor juniors on project needs

MIS Reporting and Data Analysis:

- Code, Test and Execute information systems projects

- Standardization/Reengineering and Efficient production of MIS reports - achieved by having a standardized data flow, common definitions of metrics and consistent MIS formats

- Able to design reports from scratch and use BI tools for efficient report generation

- Support business on ad hoc queries and ensuring quality with timeliness

- Provide support in the management and efficient delivery against requirements set forth by internal Risk oversight group as well as external regulators

Preferred:

- Strong experience in developing reports of credit risk area

Tools and Platforms:

- Proficient in advanced SAS, SQL, BI Tools like QlikView, Tableau, Cognos etc.

- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint
