Job Description :

- Lead a team of ~60+ people in CRMS India, Srilanka and Bangladesh. Ensure a healthy work-culture and a motivated team with focus on high performance delivery.

- Strong focus on training, talent development, retention, back-up planning for the team.

- Build and maintain strong relationship with business, risk, operations, control, compliance and other in-country and regional stakeholders.

- Lead projects and initiatives to drive transformation with an objective to reduce manual work, improve automation, improve team productivity, reduce operational risk and improve client delivery. Strong focus on driving transformation in regulatory reporting, collateral management and credit work-flow operations.

- Responsible for directing the strategy and execution of robust operational risk framework for supported business.

- Ensures all operational and business risks are identified, and that effective controls are in place to mitigate identified risks

- Develops and maintain an effective framework to ensure compliance with all relevant corporate policies and regulatory requirements

- Ensures timely and effective delivery of Global programs for supported businesses, including: Information Security, Continuity of Business, Records Management, Fraud Management, Manual Payment Policy, Data Privacy

- Ensure timely and effective operational risk reporting for supported businesses, including: Corrective action plans for open risk issues.

- Ensure timely and proactive closure of all control actions. Ensure proactive updates and escalation to the concerned country and regional seniors on an ongoing basis on the control action items.

- Creates operational risk management reports including quarterly Attestations

- Works with the various In-country and Regional Risk and Control teams to ensure an operational risk framework is embedded for all the represented functions

- Serves as Subject Matter Expert on Credit Risk Management Operations.

- Manages the relationship with in-country compliance and control functions.

- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Our clients clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
