Credit Risk Analyst ll Wholesale Banking


The incumbent will be responsible :

- For day-to-day management of credit risk function

- For recommendation of Credit Cases, through close liaison with business units, realistic and acceptable parameters of the Bank's risk appetite in terms of business activities and products, size and nature of clients, industry.


- To complete independent credit risk assessments and management process within the Bank, monitoring compliance with credit risk related requirements and limits imposed by regulators and the Bank.

- Ensure that credit facilities are prepared and approved in compliance with established policies and exposure limits set by regulators and the Bank. Identify, evaluate and recommend mitigation of risks associated with credit proposals/corporate finance deals and report risk exposures arising from business units to Head Office.

- As an owner of Credit policies and procedures for India Branches and ensuring that Credit Risk Department adheres to policies and procedures presented in the credit policies and procedures of the Bank. Make recommendations on necessary improvements/amendments to credit policies and procedures and ensure that these are implemented as and when approved.

- To evaluate credit structures and credit risk mitigants applicable to structured transactions pertaining to term credit and trade credit.

- To provide support to regulatory and compliance related matters with respect to Credit Risk

- To provide support and advice to business units and other support units on credit related matters.

- To coordinate with external and RBI auditors during review of credit portfolio of the Bank.

- To perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors from time to time.

Candidate Profile :

- Should be a CA (first attempt or rank holder preferred) or an MBA Finance (Premier Institute - Tier 1)

- Should have 6-10 Years of experience in Credit Risk management for Corporate / Investment Banking environment in any leading Bank.

- Should have strong technical knowledge of credit approval process, systems & controls and credit risk management.

- Should have sound working knowledge of Indian Company & Banking Law, RBI's Master Circulars, Credit Policies, and Legal Process for recovery in India.

- Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and cross-border teams from different cultural background.

- Should have strong computer application skills (MS Office suite).
